The award-winning Mapo Korean restaurant plates up first-class cuisine to all of its patrons, each one offering a unique fusion of unforgettable Asian and Western flavours. Grouponites sit down in the contemporary, warm environs and settle in for a six-course degustation feast. Digging into the delicious grilled Japanese scallops with sour potato salad and truffle oil, diners then savour the dried caramelised squid in a butter soy sauce. Korean kimchi with rice ball and toasted seaweed is next on the appetising agenda, followed by tasty tempura chicken breast with honey mustard sauce. Relish flavour paradise while enjoying Mapo’s trademark dish, the succulent coffee pork spare ribs with fresh salad. Feasters finish up with a Black Angus eye fillet drizzled with ginger flavoured teriyaki sauce.
Mapo has received numerous culinary awards, including Best Asian Restaurant in SA in 2011, 2010 and Lifestyle Food Channel’s Best Korean Restaurant in Australia 2007.
