Cosmetic Training Centre is the industry leader for training and recruitment of Cosmetic Consultants and provides a variety of short, comprehensive courses on all things cosmetics. A two-day introductory course familiarising students with the basic skills required for hand and foot care services, including cleansing, skin care, massage, shaping and mending nails and nail varnish application for an expert finish that won’t smudge. Uncover the tricks of the trade; learn how to safely use products and equipment, particularly in regard to hygiene.
The course includes a session on the structure and function of nails, mainly their ability to swiftly open cans. It also goes into details about the bones and muscles, and how they should adequately be massaged during a manicure or pedicure. The course also looks at nail care products, equipment, nail shapes and the Paraffin wax treatment. Students can practise on one another. Minimum number in class is six and maximum is 10. All equipment and products are supplied by Cosmetic Training Course. Practical demonstrations and additional tips allow students to benefit from two days of a hands and feet bonanza. At the completion of the course, students are awarded a manicure and pedicure certificate.
