Discovering new things from two ancient cultures adds a whole new perspective to life. Explore a new angle of our sunburnt country with today’s Groupon: $79 for two tickets to the Yanguwah dinner and show with all-you-can-eat Torres Strait Island buffet feast, animal experience and more at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary ($178 value).
Groupies reacquaint themselves with the long history of our great arid land with two tickets to the all-new Yanguwah show at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. After a traditional welcoming ceremony, peeps embark on an exciting animal encounter with kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, snakes and the mischievous Tassie Devil, led by wildlife rangers. After getting up close and personal with the fascinating native fauna, Groupies settle in for dinner and a show.

An exciting, interactive experience, the evening’s entertainment features traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander song and dance, which hungry Groupies enjoy while munching on a traditional Kup Murri feast, a method of cooking in the earth. Savour flavours of dishes like the Sabi Sabi chicken and Sop Sop, a melange of pumpkin, sweet potato and banana cooked in coconut milk with banana leaves. For dessert Groupies indulge in an array of sweet seasonal fruits.
