Cooking, like training pet dogs to pay the bills and hypnotising housemates to do the ironing is an essential life skill. Cook up a storm with today’s Groupon: $69 for a three-hour hands-on tapas master class and dining experience at Mumu Grill in Crow’s Nest ($170 value).

With an award-winning reputation as one of Sydney’s premier steakhouses and a focus on using fresh, sustainable produce, Mumu Grill
also offers would-be chefs the opportunity to show off their cooking skills and learn new ones. Groupies don the chef’s hat for a hands-on, three-hour tapas cooking class, where participants learn to master the art of authentic Italian and Spanish cuisine with MUMU Grill’s chef and owner, Craig Macindoe.
Rookie gourmets learn to make their own tasty tapenades, as well as pizza and bread dough then bake them in the onsite wood fire oven. Culinary apprentices also learn to create mouth-watering morsels such as chilli garlic prawns, tomato and goats cheese tortilla, wagyu meatballs, tequila cured salmon and more. Once the class is complete, newly-anointed tapas gurus sit down and dine on their creations, washing them down with a selection of traditional Spanish sangrias, which they will also learn how to make. Grouponites leave with full tummies and armed with a $30 dining voucher to spend at their next visit to the restaurant.
