Visitors to the vibrant and cosmopolitan city by the sea enjoy a full day of sightseeing and historical titbits, allowing them to truly appreciate the grandeur of Sydney. Departing from Star City’s coach terminal, eager tourists kick off their edifying adventure with a glimpse of Darling Harbour’s inimitable beauty, as they witness the bustling activity of the ships and ferries atop its crystal blue waters. A trip across the harbour bridge gives Groupies a chance to take in the whole harbour, with views of everything from the rocks to the ever-enchanting grinning gate of Luna Park.
The tour stops at Milsons Point, where Groupies take in incredible views of Sydney’s two most recognisable icons, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. A visit to two of Sydney’s best lookouts continues the panoramic experience with Seaforth Lookout offering views over Middle Head and the Pearl Bay Marinas and Arabanoo Lookout treating senses to an awe-inspiring perspective of the Pacific Ocean. Peeps are whisked away from the city to spend some time in the oceanside Oasis that is Manly. Here, Groupies have the chance to wander The Corso and run their toes through the warm, golden sand of Manly’s famous beach.
Peeps return to the city in the afternoon, beginning with a tour through The Rocks, one of Sydney’s most historically powerful areas. An enclave of beautiful sandstone architecture and heritage-listed buildings, The Rocks has been in existence since Australia’s earliest days. Groupies tour the area, gaining insight from the trivia and historical nuggets provided by their guide, before heading around the Quay to see the Opera House and the Conservatorium of Music up-close. Heading up towards the city centre gives Groupies the opportunity to check out picturesque Hyde Park and the Art Gallery of NSW, the magnificent sandstone church which serves as the seat of the Archbishop of Sydney. The day winds down with day-trippers admiring the gorgeous views from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and The Gap Cliff, before heading over to trendy Paddington and Sydney’s luxurious and affluent Eastern Suburbs. The tour returns to Pyrmont at approximately 5.45pm.
