Groupon Recommends
There is a plethora of activities available for guests at Riverwood Downs. Paddle a large Canadian-style canoe down a scenic stretch of river, or ride a tyre tube down the rapids to get the heart pumping. There’s a great 5km walking trail on the property which takes in mountain views and one of the river’s best swimming holes, plus dozens more bushwalks available in the Barrington Tops National Park – just ask at reception for maps and details. Spot wallabies, kangaroos, bandicoots, possums and koalas or watch out for the river’s famous platypus population at dawn and dusk.

Reviews

We have stayed there 4 times now, once in the spa cabin, once in the normal cabin and twice camping…we found most of the staff really lovely. You can also walk anywhere over the property, see the cows, horses and dogs.

We arrived early afternoon and it was ceratinly a beatuiful spot… it was a 'pets welcome' resort, but I must say we hardly noticed - infact the dogs we saw were well behaved and the owners most considerate. Our resort room was comfortable and we were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine.
