Local Amenities

There are numerous wineries in the area, and plenty of tourist attractions to save happy campers from travelling too far afield.

By Car
From Gold Coast: Take the Gold Coast Highway/State Route 2 northbound to Southport, exiting left on North Street/State Route 10, before heading north on Pacific Motorway/M1. Take exit 57-Hope Island Road-Tamborine-Oxenford Road towards State Route 95 and continue to Tamborine-Oxenford Road/State Route 95. Take the third exit at the roundabout onto Eagle Heights/State Road 95, then left onto Geissmann Drive, and the second right onto Beacon Road.

From Brisbane: Take the Pacific Motorway/M1 southbound. The Beacon on Tamborine recommends the Tamborine-Beenleigh ascent; take the Yatala North exit, and follow the Stanmore Road to the Tamborine-Beenleigh Road. Beacon Road is located adjacent to the Shell service station on Main Western Road.
