The Hotel
A collection of stylish villas shaded by pretty peppermint trees, Bayshore Beachside Resort is just seconds from the sand. Groupies enjoy the ultimate beach holiday with a group of six friends or family members, shacking up in a self-contained villa with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. The resort is set in beautiful grounds with a floodlit tennis court and BBQ area, with a magnificent beach just across the road. Stroll across the road to the beach for an early morning dip, before cooking up a hearty breakfast in the villa’s kitchen. After breakfast, return to the beach or bundle the troops into the car and head off to explore regional attractions such as spooky Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse with its rich maritime history, perhaps spotting a few whales off the coast; Quindalup Fauna Park for the kids; or fabulous Margaret River for the grown-ups, where wine tasting and fine dining prevails. In the afternoon, take a drive along the coast to some of WA's best swimming beaches such as Meelup, Eagle Bay and Bunker Bay, before returning to Dunsborough for dinner at one of the great local restaurants, perhaps followed by a bit of live music. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course just up the road from the resort.



Local Amenities
Dunsborough is 254km south of Perth, an easy three to four-hour drive. Interstate Groupies could fly into Perth and then hire a car, or alternatively catch the speedy Australind train to Bunbury which runs twice daily. There is also a reliable bus service between Perth and Dunsborough; once at the resort, guests would probably find it useful to have their own car to travel around the region. Bayshore Beachside Resort is located on Geographe Road, a couple of kilometres from the centre of town with most of the Dunsborough shops clustered around the start of Cape Naturaliste Road.
