Boasting a population of cuddly and beguiling beasts, Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park gives the young and young at heart alike a chance to get up close and personal with a range of different animals. Groupies enjoy entrance to the park for two, three or four people, discovering a wildlife sanctuary with a huge expanse of natural bushland where kangaroos, emus and wallabies can be seen. Daily interactions with the sanctuary’s fuzzy residents allow guests to pat a koala or even snuggle with a python, while the mini farmyard petting zoo lets peeps get acquainted with Monty and Milo the miniature goats, Machu and Picchu the alpacas, a cute little piglet called Waffles, and a farmyard family of bunnies and geese.
Watch as the rangers introduce Groupies to dingoes, Tasmanian devils and an array of reptiles and other scaly, feathery and furry animals. Peeps can also visit the sanctuary's ancient Aboriginal sites and take part in edifying bush lessons such as boomerang throwing and bush tucker and bush medicine walkabout workshops.
Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park
Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park is an 80-acre sanctuary where native Australian animals thrive in a protected environment of old growth bush. Roaming free and happy, Groupies can meet friendly kangaroos, emus and wallabies in their natural habitat. Other animals that need extra care such as dingoes, koalas, wombats and much more can be viewed in their natural habitat camps. The park contains a number of ancient Aboriginal sites with surviving artwork, and rangers provide daily presentations on animals and elements of Indigenous culture designed to foster a deeper respect for the land.
