Little Lamb Hot Pot
Located on Whitehorse Road, Box Hill, Little Lamb Hot Pot offers a range of traditional Chinese meals and refreshing drinks. The restaurant takes its name from its signature offering, a Chinese dish which offers diners the chance to cook their own ingredients in pots of simmering stock and spices. The restaurant offers a range of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as a range of desserts for those of a sweet-loving disposition.
On the whole it was an enjoyable night. Food was mostly fresh (dried mushrooms were sour getting close to going off) and enough variety for a simple dinner. The plain soup had Asian aromatics which may not suit some but once all the food went in and released their flavours it was yummy.

I didn't think I would like this place but it turned out okay. It's not for everyone because the soup base contains some Chinese herbal plants or whatever in it. But if you have the spicy side of the soup, you won't taste it. You will taste the Herbal stuff in the normal broth. I liked the atmosphere because we sat for like 3 hrs eating and just talking.
