How does plasma pen work?

Plasma Pen Skin Tightening ​ionises gases from the air to create a small and very precise arc of plasma energy. This plasma arc is used to create a series of tiny dots on the skin that aim to trigger an immediate tightening, lifting and contouring reaction, designed to renew skin whilst the surrounding skin should remain unaffected. After the treatment, the treated area can be red for 7-14 days and some patients may experience swelling, which may last up to four days. At the site of each spot, a small crust will form. They should not be touched and clients should wait for up to 10 days for them to fall off naturally. During the procedure, clients may feel some discomfort, depending on the treated area of the face or body.

How to prepare for the treatment?

Clients should inform the therapist if they have any significant medical history and/or if they are taking any medications prior to treatment. Make-up and sunscreen will also have to be removed prior to treatment. Do not wax, pluck, use depilatory creams or undertake electrolysis for two weeks prior to treatment, and in between treatments. Do not use prescription strength exfoliant creams (discuss with the therapist) for two weeks prior to treatment. Do not shave the targeted for up to one week prior to first treatment. Please shave the night before all subsequent treatments. Avoid tanning, including self-tanning lotions, tanning bed/booths or sun exposure for four weeks prior to and in between treatments. A sunscreen with SPF 30 or greater should be used on any area of sun-exposed skin, which clients plan to targe
