Cyclists are picked up early in the morning from their hotels and transported a short distance away to the area of Petang for this 3-hour tour.
The 23km ride takes you along quiet back roads and minor village roads with little to no traffic, visiting organic farms, Balinese compounds and on through the traditional farming village of Petang in the North of Badung. A guide is on hand to explain the views, and teach travellers a little more about Bali’s unique culture and lush countryside. At the end of the tour, groups will walk for 40 minutes, and sit down to a large lunch in a Balinese home that caters to both vegetarians and meat-eaters before heading back.
Tours depart Nusa Dua 7.30am and return at 4pm, depart Kuta at 7.30am and return at 3.30pm and depart Ubud 7.45am and return 2.30pm. Cyclists are advised to bring running shoes or flip flops, sunblock, a camera and a hat.
