Groupies begin their discovery of Vietnam in Hanoi. After a brief overnight stay, be whisked away to Halong for a one-night V’Spirit Cruise on the breathtaking Halong Bay. Enjoy lunch on board while sailing among the limestone islands, then kayak around the bay’s secret spots before returning to the boat for a sunset party on the deck. Begin the next day with a Tai Chi session and return to dry land in the afternoon.
The next few days will see you tick off a lot of items from your Vietnam bucket list. Check out Sapa and its abundance of terraced rice fields as well as the waterfall and Hydropower station within Cat Cat Village and learn more about traditions and customs of the local people in Lao Chai Ta Van village before heading back to Hanoi.
Travel in comfort aboard an air-conditioned sleeper train as you journey to Da Nang. From there, guests will be transferred to Hoi An to stay in the Ancient Town and set off on guided tours of My Son Holy Land and the Champa Kingdom.
Day 13 of the tour sees travellers arrive in famed Ho Chi Minh City. From here, the tour journeys to the Mekong Delta for a glimpse into the daily life of the locals. See fruit plantations and traditional villages while cruising along the natural canals. The last few days include a guided tour through the Cu Chi Tunnels, which were granted icon status for the fundamental role they played in the Vietnam War. Gaze out on the surrounding scenery where water buffaloes swim in the rivers and graze alongside the road.
