Kathmandu Valley View & Cultural Trekking | 6 Days Tour in Nepal

DAY 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
  • Upon arrival, one of our airport representatives will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel.
  • Rest and later meet us for a trek briefing. Feel free to ask any questions you have.
  • Spend the rest of the evening purchasing trekking gear and packing your duffel bags.

DAY 02 – Kathmandu → Sundarijal (1,350 m/4,429 ft) → Hike to Chisapani

  • Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (approx. 1 hour).
  • Start the trek from Sundarijal through Shivapuri National Park.
  • Pass by Mulkharka, a Tamang village.
  • Descend into a forested trail with rhododendron and oak trees before reaching Chisapani.
  • On clear days, you can see views of the Annapurna range.

DAY 03 – Chisapani → Nagarkot

  • Wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan range (20 giant peaks visible on clear days).
  • Have breakfast and begin the trek toward Nagarkot.
  • The trail ascends to Chauki Bhanjhyan, continues uphill, and then descends into Nagarkot.
  • Enjoy panoramic mountain views and a relaxing evening stay in Nagarkot.

DAY 04 – Nagarkot → Changunarayan Temple → Drive to Kathmandu

  • Wake up early to witness another stunning sunrise with mountain views of Everest, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Gaurishankar.
  • After breakfast, descend to Changunarayan Temple, one of the oldest and most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal.
  • Explore the temple, then drive back to Kathmandu.

DAY 05 – Guided Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu & Farewell Dinner

  • After breakfast, meet your tour guide for a full-day sightseeing tour.

  • Visit major historical and cultural sites:

    • Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath)
    • Pashupatinath Temple
    • Boudhanath Stupa
    • Kathmandu Durbar Square
    • Patan Durbar Square
  • Learn about Nepal’s history, art, architecture, culture, and local way of life.

  • Explore nearby local markets.

  • In the late evening, gather at a designated hotel for a farewell dinner.

  • Optionally, enjoy Thamel nightlife with window shopping, clubs, and pubs before returning to your hotel.

DAY 06 – Final Departure

  • Get ready on time for your departure.
  • Our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport.
