Included in all options:
  • 10-night accommodation
  • Daily buffet breakfast and dinner included in all hotels and camps during the stay (except for Delhi hotel which is on breakfast only basis)
  • Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Delhi, sharing the vehicle
  • Delhi sightseeing tour with a guide; sharing vehicle
  • Delhi – Manali – Delhi tickets in semi-sleeper Volvo
  • 500 CC Royal Enfield bike for the tour from day 4 to day 11 (with all valid bike documents)
  • All days fuel for the motorbike, covering entire tour as mentioned
  • One Indian-standard helmet for each person (the rider as well as the pillion)
  • A back-up vehicle which will carry your entire luggage throughout the riding days will follow the group from Manali – Leh – back to Manali
  • A bike mechanic accompanying the group (in case of any issues with the bike during the ride)
  • An experienced tour guide or road captain with the group (sitting in the back-up car; they can also ride the bike and lead the entire group)
  • Manali Volvo Stand to Manali hotel and from Manali hotel to Manali Volvo stand transfer; sharing vehicle
  • Transfer to Delhi International airport at the end; sharing vehicle
  • Rohtang pass permit, all other Inner-line tourist permits in Leh and all other high altitude entry passes (as per the itinerary)
  • One common first aid box and oxygen cylinder in the back-up car in case it is needed
  • All current applicable Indian taxes
Not included:
  • Bike damage during the ride, any small or big spare part damage during the ride, full bike damage during the ride, an accident of bike and damage, engine oil charges (shall be paid on spot to the road captain during the tour)
  • Any other meals, accommodation, guide service, and bike services other than those mention above
  • Any international or domestic flight fares, Indian visa and travel insurance
  • Bike will not be provided during leisure days in Manali & Leh
  • Costs arising in case of changing the itinerary/accommodation in any condition which is not in the Tour Provider’s hand such as a landslide or any other natural disaster, strike in any town, road blockage, bad weather, flight/Volvo or train delay, riders’ or any guests’ health issues/accident and damage of any property
  • Any other items not specified in the inclusions section

The Experience

Thrill-seekers can get on a motorbike to see the various faces of the Himalayas and visit hill stations and ancient temples. This 13-day tour starts with a stay in Delhi and an overnight bus journey to Manali where travellers hit the road to experience roller coaster-like climbing up and down the passes and moonscape mountain scenery. Daily breakfast and dinner are included.

The tour leads through seven passes, three being the world’s highest and covers the following places: Delhi, Manali, Rohtang Pass, Keylong, Jispa, Darcha, Deepak Tal, Baralacha La, Suraj Tal, Sarchu, Naki La, Lachlung La, Tanglang La, Leh, Khardungla, and Nubra Valley.

The Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi

  • Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2 - Delhi – Manali

  • After breakfast, head to Old Delhi to take a rickshaw ride at Chandi Chowk and explore the narrow alleys, colourful markets, and shops with local crafts
  • Visit Jama Mosque, one of the largest in Asia
  • Drive past the iconic Red Fort dating back to 1648 and see Raj Ghat, a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi
  • Proceed to New Delhi to visit Humayun’s Tomb and see the India Gate and Qutub Minar, the president’s house
  • In the evening, transfer to Volvo bus station to board a bus for Manali; overnight on board

Day 3 - Manali

  • Arrival to Manali bus station and transfer to a hotel
  • Enjoy free time in Manali to buy gears or explore the local landmarks, such as Old Manali, The Mall, Monastery, and Hidimba and Vashitha temple
  • Join a bike session in the afternoon for a briefing about the road safety and high altitude concern and motorbikes handover
  • Test the motorbike on a short ride
  • Overnight stay in the hotel

Day 4 - Manali – Rohtang Pass – Jispa (138 km – 5 hours)

  • Wake up early in the morning to hit one of the world’s highest roads, the Manali-Leh highway
  • Cross the villages of Manali, enter the 13,050 feet-high Rohtang Pass and hit the road descending into the Lahaul Valley
  • Stop for lunch and pass through Keylong on the way to Jispa
  • Overnight stay in Jispa

Day 5 - Jispa - Baralacha Pass - Sarchu (85 km – 3 hours)

  • Leave the lush surroundings peppered with lakes, waterfalls and streams and proceed towards stark moonscape scenery
  • Cross the second high altitude pass, Baralach La, at 16,043 feet
  • Overnight stay in Sarchu camp

Day 6 - Sarchu - Lachunga La - Tanglang La Pass - Leh (250 km – 7 hours)

  • Start the day early and hit the roller coaster-like section the highway climbing up and down from one pass to another; ride up and down three high altitude passes, Nakee La (15,647 feet), Lachlung La (16,600 feet), and Taglang La (17,480 feet)
  • Finish the ride in the ancient city of Leh (Snow Lion or Himalayan Heritage)

Day 7 - Leisure time in Leh

  • Make the most of free time to explore what Leh has to offer; Leh Palace, Leh market, and Shanti stupa, or venture further afield to Shey Palace and Hemis and Thiksey monastery

Day 8 - Leh - Khardung La pass - Nubra Valley (160 km – 6 hours)

  • Test the new bike (in Leh, travellers will have to leave the Manali bikes and take another bikes from Leh)
  • Then, head towards the day’s goal - crossing the world’s highest motorable pass Khardung La, set at the altitude of 18,380 feet
  • Take in the mountain views and decent to Nubra Valley considered as the coldest desert
  • Overnight stay in Nubra camp

Day 9 - Nubra - Diskit Monastery  - Leh (150 km – 5 hours)

  • After breakfast, take a drive to visit the iconic Diskit monastery
  • Follow the same route to get back to Leh
  • Stay in Leh

Day 10 - Leh - Sarchu (260 km – 9 hours)

  • Take a ride through Leh, Karu, and Tanglang La to Sarchu, following the same route
  • Overnight stay at the same camp in Sarchu

Day 11 - Sarchu - Manali (233 km – 7 hours)

  • Take a long ride from Sarchu to Manali
  • Hand over the motorbike and check in to the hotel
  • Receive a certificate for completing this excursion
  • Overnight stay in a hotel

Day 12 - Manali - Delhi (510 km – overnight)

  • Enjoy some leisure time after breakfast, before an evening transfer to Manali bus station to board a Volvo vehicle for a journey to Delhi; overnight on board

Day 13 – Delhi

  • Arrival in Delhi at around 8-9am, depending on traffic
  • Transfer to Delhi International Airport; the tour finishes

  • Jispa - camp accommodation in Jispa

The Fine Print

• Deal is valid for 1 person based on 2 people travelling together (twin share) or 1 person travelling alone, depending on the option chosen

• Please note that the minimum strength to operate any group date is 6 paying riders (6 confirmed bikes); the tour provider reserves the right to cancel any group if the total strength will not be 6 riders; travellers will be informed about the operational situation one month (30 days) before the tour starting date; if the group is cancelled, you may choose another operational date or the cost will be refunded

• Please note that the Pillion rider cost does not include any transport in jeep/ car and travellers would have to ride the motorcycle only with his/ her companion; includes only the accommodation on twin sharing as per plan
