The Experience

Join us for a unique day exploring a different side of the Blue Mountains. Step back in time as we board the historic Zig Zag Railway for a 90-minute heritage steam train journey. Experience the charm of yesteryear while taking in stunning scenery and fascinating stories of the railway’s past.

After a relaxing lunch in one of the charming mountain villages, we’ll conclude the day with a visit to a family-run Roses and Lavender Farm. Stroll through rows of fragrant lavender, discover how essential oils and hydrosols are made, and browse the farm shop for locally crafted products. For a sweet treat, don’t miss the homemade lavender ice cream!

The Itinerary

7:00 AM – City Pickup

City Pickup is located at 24 Rawson Place, Haymarket. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure to ensure a timely boarding process. Stand in front of Service NSW, ready to start your journey.

7:40 AM – Parramatta Pickup

Parramatta Pickup is located at the corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior. Stand in front of the Westfield main entrance, near LAB cafe, where the tour bus will collect passengers.

9:00 AM – Hydro Majestic Hotel Stop

Enjoy a quick stop at the Hydro Majestic Hotel to stretch your legs and use restroom facilities. This brief stop gives you the opportunity to refresh before the scenic journey continues.

10:30 AM – Zig Zag Railway Experience

Arrive at the historic Zig Zag Railway for an unforgettable ride through the Blue Mountains. Experience the engineering marvel, take in breathtaking views, and capture photos of the surrounding natural beauty.

12:30 PM – Lunch at Mt Victoria

Stop at Mt Victoria for lunch (own expense) in a picturesque setting. Enjoy the local cuisine while taking in panoramic views of the Blue Mountains region.

2:00 PM – Lavender Farm Visit

Visit a charming Lavender Farm to explore the fragrant fields, browse local products, and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Take your time to stroll through the gardens and capture memorable photos.

6:15 PM – Parramatta Drop-off

Return to Parramatta, with an estimated arrival time of 6:15 PM. Passengers will be dropped off at the same location where they were picked up.

7:00 PM – Sydney City Drop-off

Conclude your day with a drop-off at Haymarket, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 PM. Passengers will be dropped off at the same location where they were picked up.
