Kicking off at 2pm at Victoria’s iconic Mansfield Showgrounds, Groupies have an hour to settle in and stake out their spot in the mosh pit before ultimate rock gods Dragon take to the stage to deliver their special brand of heavy metal-tinged rock. If ecstatic rockers haven’t expired from excitement they have the opportunity to bop along to Chocolate Starfish before former Cold Chisel plucker serenades the crowd with his slamming tunes. A set by Baby Animals has retrospective rockers tapping their toes on to some of the band’s hugest hits.



The evening builds towards its inevitable crescendo at 8.30pm with former Cold Chisel frontman and ultimate Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes taking to the stage to blast fans with his golden pipes.
