Don't be fooled by Froggy's casual-sounding name. The founder, chef Thierry Lefeuvre, learnt his craft at a French culinary school and has directed Froggy's menu since 1980. The success of the local institution is due in part to the chef's loyalty to traditional French cuisine executed in a way that isn't so easy to find. Dishes might range from sautéed sweetbreads in bordelaise sauce to charcuterie and elegant cheese plates, with a little something for everyone in between. The team complements these meals with a full bar's worth of drinks, including hundreds of wines from the U.S. and France.
