Fun class if you've never tried pottery before. It's mostly about letting you try manipulating the clay and experiencing the process, plus George gives you some theory/history about pottery too, so educational too. Don't worry if you stuff up your piece, he will help you and make sure you end up with not just a lump of sunken clay.

Loved the class. So much fun. The only down side is that if you wanted to colour your work you have to pay extra and come the following week. But overall it was a great experience worth trying.

The experience was a little like military dictation rather than a fun afternoon doing pottery. The instructor's style of harsh and fast. It felt like the instructor was trying to get everyone to finish up as quickly as possible. He didn't like answering questions and made you feel silly for asking questions. The pottery experience itself was ok. Location was very central in Burwood. Would not come back.
