What You'll Get
Meet at the Bryon Bay Visitor Centre at 5pm and travel by road to the campsite at the base of the Mount Warning. Take a splash in a rock pool or simply relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the Mount Warning National Park. The following morning rise before dawn, grab a quick breakfast and prepare for your climb.
At 3,792 feet (1156m) Mount Warning dominates the Byron Bay hinterland. The 5.6 mile (9km) roundtrip self-guided will take approximately 4 hours. This walk is not just for the very fit. It can be quite challenging but you can take it at your own pace and the paths are configured into a zigzag so that you are walking a gentle incline.
