There is a newly renovated Holocaust exhibition as well as a number of temporary exhibitions. The Holocaust and Human Rights is the newest permanent exhibition that outlines human rights achievements and challenges, and uses digital technologies to explore local issues pertaining to the rights of Refugees and Asylum Seekers; People with Disabilities; Indigenous People; and the LGBTIQ+ Community.Every day there are guided tours which are included in the Museum’s entry fee. Serving Australia: The Jewish Involvement in Australian Military History: Portrays the stories of Jewish servicemen and women in the Australian defence forces from its inception to the present.
Culture and Continuity: Journey through Judaism: Explores Jewish history from Biblical origin in the Ancient Near East to the thriving Jewish community in Australia.
Guided tours: A guided tour is included in the entry fee and runs Monday-Friday at 1pm, and on Sundays at 12pm.
Museum cafe: There is a kosher cafe offering a delicious menu for morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea.
Museum shop: Visit the gift shop for a large range of Judaica and general gift-ware. Stocks a variety of books, including Holocaust Survivor stories.
Getting to the Museum: The Museum is minutes from Kings Cross and Oxford Street, vibrant centres of activity for tourists and locals alike.
