Didn’t disappoint great stay. We had a superior water view room. Didn’t disappoint. View was spectacular. Pool was heated, so good. Beds were very comfy, ice maker in fridge, big flat screen tv great modern kitchen took us a while to figure out how to use oven but all good. Coconut Willy’s downstairs and a gaming room is a plus. Heaps of other restaurants to choose from as well. Free wifi when u book direct. These are 80% owned by residents so had pool to myself a lot. Aircon in bedroom as well much appreciated. Bbq facilities were great. undercover parking and lifts. Very clean establishment. Now booked for Easter to see grandkids again. But not a superior room which was on level 10 A water view one bed apartment probably 5 to 7th floor. Oh and Charis seafoods across road.

Stay at a modern apartment near the Gold Coast's major theme parks and Harbour Town factory outlet, and take a dip in the infinity-edge pool

The Area: Gold Coast, QLD

A glittering stretch of golden beaches fringed by soaring skyscrapers, the Gold Coast is a vibrant holiday destination where buzzing bars and nightclubs sit alongside glitzy boutiques and a thrilling multitude of action-packed theme parks. Just north of the centre of the action, Surfers Paradise, lies Labrador – a relaxed suburb with soaring views across the Broadwater and back to the glittering Gold Coast skyline.

Head straight to Surfers Paradise beach, where folks can take a surfing lesson, embark on a soft-sand run or just have a good old-fashioned splash in the blue waters. Walk up to the Esplanade, where food can be found in every form under the sun and trendy boutiques offer up clothing, gifts and home wares at a range of price points or move through to Elkhorn Avenue for designer stores including Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada. Try the foot of Chevron Renaissance or the DFS store on Orchid Avenue for fashion chains, or wander the leafy beachside boulevards for a relaxed high street shopping experience.

Outside Labrador, whole days can be spent at any number of famous Gold Coast theme parks like Dreamworld, Wet ‘n’ Wild, Warner Bros Movie World and even Tropical Fruit World. Slightly further afield is the ''green behind the gold'' Hinterland, which can be explored on a day trip to Tamborine Mountain or Currumbin Valley. By night, put dancing shoes on and hit the myriad bars, pubs and clubs within close reach.

Cannot recommend These people stole money from my bank account one month after we had stayed at these apartments. They said we broke the rangehood and the outdoor shutters. We had not touched them. I took them to the Office of Fair Trading and then to QCAT to get my money back. The courts ruled in my favour, and my money was then returned. Be sure to take photos of everything when you arrive and when you leave. Ensure all photos are time stamped as it will assist the process if you need to take them to court.

Pretty good stay Purchased a Groupon deal which included wine and chocolates in the room then got really worried after reading all the reviews , but we got lucky , our room was really nice , it had everything we needed and bed was comfy . Only grip I had is the shower head wasn’t very good and cause it wasn’t very high my husband had to crouch down to wash his hair and I would of rather a room higher up the building ( we were on level 3 ) as our water views were obstructed by part of the building but having said that if we had a different room we could of ended up with a dud room . The pool was nice to , happy with our stay overall

Lovely penthouse lacks sufficient furniture We stayed in the 3 level penthouse so the views were spectacular. The place was very modern and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. The pool was well kept and very refreshing. The penthouse was huge, spanning 3 floors with large spaces but the living area was sorely lacking in furniture. Although we were only 2 people, with 3 guests for one night, the penthouse can sleep 6 to 8 people, however the ground floor where the kitchen and living area is situated, there is only a 3 seater couch with no coffee table. There is also no dining room table. The patio furniture on this floor is also sub standard. There is nowhere to entertain on this level. If you want to entertain you are expected to trek up 2 floors to the roof which includes a dining room table, loungers, spa and BBQ. Unfortunately there is no kitchen on the 3rd floor which you would expect to accompany the BBQ area of a penthouse, especially as it is a long walk with many stairs from the kitchen on the lower floor. Overall it is a great apartment and if it had more furniture I would have provided an 'Excellent' review.

10 REASONS TO AVOID!! 1. Thick dust on surfaces _ 2. Someone else’s dirty underpants under the bed_ 3. Didn’t get the beds we booked _ 4. Filthy floor rugs _ 5. Thick road dirt on the rusty outdoor shutters which didn’t work and held together with cable ties _ 6. Chips in paint and walls with missing door knobs _ 7. Bedroom 2 had a dodgy low lying double bed with a flimsy roll out bed with a thin foam mattress that my adult boys were expected to sleep on. _ 8. Rude and unhelpful staff who couldn’t understand why we didn’t want to stay _ 9, Manager refused to admit responsibility and won’t communicate to our requests of a refund despite service not used as we left immediately _ 10. They will blacklist you for complaining then hang up on you _
