My children worked hard to buy me a pack of 3 Microderm treatments.
I had been trying to contact the salon for days with no luck leaving messages on the 18th, 20th and 24th of Feb, so put in a complaint to groupon (who I never heard back from). I can see I'm not the first person to experience this. I finally got a call back and booked in my first sessions for the 27th March at 12.00pm.
I was running late 10minutes late for my first appointment and called them to advise. They said that it was too late to come. I don't live very far away so would have still been able to go even if I only had time for a partial treatment.
I booked another session and then after I had the treatment the young girl said that I had used my second voucher. I was quite confused by this. She told me that she recorded my first booking as a no show and was within the cancellation period so it was voided. I was taken back by this as there was no communication in regards to this on my phone calls. (This is something that should be communicated at the time of booking as a courtesy I believe).
I went to book for my 3rd session before the expiry of the voucher and she said that she would ask groupon to refund me for the last voucher. I have not heard back from the Salon and have not heard from Groupon either. Also my voucher shows it has been used so I can't even register a problem and request a refund.
As an ex salon owner myself I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism, customer service and communication overall from this salon, however the young girl that did my treatment was lovely although didn't seem experienced.
