Situated in the heart of McLaren Vale, Maximus Wines is one of the most reputable wineries in the region, offering a range of fermented Shiraz grapes to be enjoyed to the last drop. The cellar door is nestled within a vineyard that boasts spectacular vistas of the Willunga Hills and offers magnificent views from the balcony to boot. Owned and managed by Rowland and Shelley Short, the small winery takes care of the entire winemaking process on site, with free tastings available, as well as premium wines, artisanal gins, whisky, liqueurs and decadent sharing platters.
