Founded in September 2000 by Terry and Fiona Smit, Go West Tours started as a passion project dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests. Terry's extensive tour guiding experience, gained during a 3-year working holiday in Europe, inspired the couple to change the way tours were conducted in Melbourne. Today, Go West Tours remains a family-owned and operated business, with a team of over 40 employees. They offer unique itineraries covering the Great Ocean Road, Grampians, Phillip Island, Mornington Peninsula, Wilsons Promontory, and the Yarra Valley. Even after 20 years, their commitment to providing guests with an enjoyable and unforgettable experience remains unwavering.

Good to Know

• It is recommended that guests arrive at their designated pickup location at least 10 minutes before their scheduled pickup time.

• Please be aware this is a pickup tour service, redemption will happen at the pickup location.

What to wear:

• Dress appropriately for all weather conditions
• Snacks and a refillable water bottle
• Warm weather – sunscreen and a hat, swimming costume if you want to take a dip
• Winter – warm clothes and layers as coastal winds can make conditions quite cold

Facilities:

• No prams, strollers, luggage, or large bags are permitted onboard touring vehicles due to a lack of appropriate storage space.
• They offer the option of providing an infant seat (0-3 years) or a child booster seat (4-8 years) complimentary of charge.
