The Megalong Valley offers the opportunity to spot wallabies and kangaroos - with dawn and dusk the best times as they relax and feed on the grass, usually out in the open next to horses and sheep. While they are around all day, they tend to shade in the bushland during the heat of the day which can make them difficult to see.
