Fire alarm went off on the first night and wasn’t connected to emergency services. I phoned the fire brigade! No staff member on site, confused guests, some still in their rooms. No hot water on the second night and compensation offered was a free bottle of wine! Unusual compensation for not being able to bathe, especially as I’m staying with my 7 year old son. I don’t thinking drinking a bottle of wine would be responsible, especially after the previous night.

I’m a little disappointed! I have stayed here before and the service was so much better than this time around. I absolutely understand that we’re coming out of COVID-19 but it’s no excuse for poor service.
