The Experience

Groupies spend their first night at Hotel Rey Don Felipe in Punta Arenas, the Chilean gateway to the Antarctic. Meet fellow passengers over dinner at José Nogueira Hotel, an evocative century-old French mansion, before getting a good nights’ sleep in preparation for the adventures to follow.



On day two people fly to the stunning South Shetland Islands, where they board a purpose-built ice strengthened ship for a five-night cruise down the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. Sail through ice-filled fjords and between vast icebergs, marvel at penguins, seals, whales and sea birds, and tick off some of the continent’s most spectacular locales: from Livingston Island to Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, Cuverville and Deception Islands and more.



Each day is filled with excursions and interesting lectures, with all meals and drinks included; finish on a high note back at Punta Arenas airport.
