About This Deal
As sushi found out long ago, seaweed is extremely dangerous and swimming with it will certainly lead to one’s demise. Swim with friendlier marine inhabitants with today’s Groupon for Cape Byron Kayaks, Byron Bay:
The Deal
$32.50 for a three-hour dolphin kayaking tour (total value $65)
Groupies are picked up from their Byron Bay accommodation and driven to Clarks Beach in time for the morning or afternoon tour. Suit up in a lifejacket, helmet and wetsuit, and climb aboard a sea kayak to paddle out towards the Cape. Keep an eye out for the dolphins swimming around Wategos Beach, before going ashore to enjoy a tasty morning or afternoon tea.
After fuelling up on tea, coffee, hot Milo, bottled water and Tim Tams, continue out to Middle Reef to snorkel with turtles and rays (weather conditions permitting). Once back in the kayak, surf Byron’s famous waves for an end to the tour. A guide is on hand throughout the day, sharing tales of the area’s history, Aboriginal heritage and prominent lighthouse. Once ashore, Groupies are returned to their hotel by the team.

A must see while you are in Byron Bay. We had an amazing time on this tour as the guides were extremely organized, knowledgable and just plain old fun!! Were able to see some of the beautiful marine life (turtles, fish, rays, etc.) and scenery in the area. Have and will continue to recommend this tour/attraction to people we meet along the way.

Went kayaking with two girlfriend from Canada were all ages 24-25. Such a nice morning, unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins but we did get out and go snorkelling in a reef! Very tiring!! My arms were killing. The instructors were all super friendly and it was a very family friendly tour. When I finally settle down and have a family I'll bring my kids there one day for sure :)
