My husband and I stayed 2 nights for my birthday and for some well deserved R & R. We both absolutely loved the place. I love the idea of cabins nestled into the tree tops with private spas that look over the rainforest. It was truly a private and peacefull experience. Loved waking up to the sounds of the rain forest. The restaurant was excellent with the food being of gourmet quality and a peaceful ambiance as you stare over the lagoon. The staff were amazing and treated us with warm & friendly hospitality. A truly magical expirence.

Just spent 2 nights here with my hubby after our friends stayed here years ago and had highly recommended it - I couldn't agree more. This is the most magical, healing and peaceful place! For being "in the heart of the rainforest", it's very easy to find and within walking distance of the river and fairly close to the various Daintree tourist stuff. Our room was like a private cabin up on stilts on the side of a hill surrounded by rainforest - the whole thing was screened so we left windows and sliding doors open the whole time for the fresh air and rainforest noises (heavenly, particularly at night!). There was nothing better than enjoying our coffee on our screened porch in the morning, seeing nothing but green lushness and hearing nothing but rainforest.

From Cairns International Airport: Head east on Airport Ave. Turn right onto Captain Cook Hwy/National Route 1 (look out for signs indicating Captain Cook Highway/Tourist Drive 14/Mareeba/Mossman/Port Douglas) and then go through three roundabouts. At the roundabout, take the second exit and stay on Captain Cook Hwy/National Route 1. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Captain Cook Hwy/State Route 44. Continue to follow Captain Cook Highway, followed by four roundabouts. Continue onto Mossman-Daintree Rd until you see destination on the right

From Port Douglas: Head south-east on Macrossan St towards Davidson St and then turn right on to Davidson St. Continue onto Port Douglas Rd, followed by going through three roundabouts. Turn right onto Captain Cook Hwy/State Route 44 and continue to follow Captain Cook Hwy until you read Mossman-Daintree Rd. Destination will be on the right
