The Experience

The Itinerary

• Day One (no meals): Arrive at the hotel in Hanoi centre and take time to explore the city after checking-in
• Day Two (lunch and dinner): Travel from the hotel to Halong Bay, and be brought onboard a cruise ship and greeted with a welcome drink. After a seafood lunch, take the chance to explore the water caves, and enjoy some kayaking in Lan Ha Bay before cruising to Soi Sim Island; return to the boat for a Vietnamese cooking demonstration before spending the night onboard
• Day Three (breakfast and lunch): Greet the morning with some early morning tai chi on the boat’s sundeck, before enjoying a guided tour of Sung Sot Cave; afterwards, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch onboard before disembarking and returning to the hotel in Hanoi
• Day Four (breakfast): Enjoy a free day in Hanoi to explore and shop for souvenirs and gifts before transferring to the train station to board the sleeping train to Danang
• Day Five (no meals): Arrive in Da Nang around 11.30am and be transferred to the hotel in Hoi An’s ancient town; spend the rest of the day exploring and relaxing
• Day Six (breakfast and lunch): Start off early with a guided trip to Ngu Hanh Son, or the Mountains of the Five Elements and enjoy panoramic countryside views; explore fascinating caves and local pagodas; visit the Cham Museum before having lunch and returning to Hoi An
• Day Seven (breakfast): Enjoy a free day of exploration in Hoi An for shopping and relaxation
• Day Eight (breakfast): Relax in the morning before transferring to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where you will check into your hotel.
• Day Nine (breakfast and lunch): Start off early for a scenic journey along the National Highway to the Mekong Delta, visit Vinh Trang pagoda and take a boat ride down the river where the lunch will be served, see local villages, and enjoy some Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by the locals; visit a family business, taste fresh food from nearby plantations and enjoy the scenery before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for the night
• Day Ten (breakfast): Explore the city until you are transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
