For Soloists’ Choice, Marc-Andre Hamelin, pianist and composer, and James Ehnes, concert violinist, take to the stage at the Melbourne Recital Hall. The musicians will combine music for solo instruments with chamber works joined by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra to perform their rendition of Schubert’s Octet, composed by Franz Schubert in March 1824.
