My wife and I went there for my birthday and it tasted amazing. The best lobster tail Ive had and all the other food was spot on. Had a really good meal there and would definitely go back.

Highlights

Niku Niku is the first restaurant to introduce “Japanese Genshiyaki” to Melbourne.”Genshiyaki” in Japanese means traditional grill, it is prepared over an “Ishizukuri Irori” (Japanese stone pit) by placing the ingredients around the Japanese white charcoal. The Japanese white charcoal has a much higher and consistent heat, it can make sure foods are grilled at a stable high temperature and lock in the nutrients and aroma within the dishes we create.

Located within a walking distance from Melbourne Central Train Station, Niku Niku Japanese Gourmet restaurant serves a range of authentic Japanese dishes. The venue boasts a traditional Genshiyaki grill designed to cook seafood, meat and vegetables carefully over a strong fire.
