Groupies learn how to froth, steam, pour and drink coffee like the pros. Caffeinated teachers explain the history of coffee, including how it goes from seed to cup, and the different types of coffee usually served in restaurants and cafés. Coffees are made using local and fresh roasted coffee with fresh permeate free milk.
Baristas-in-the-making are also shown how to set and maintain an espresso machine, and given advice on how and where to find a job to show off their new skills.
The Australian Coffee School
The Australian Coffee School has been helping keep Australia caffeinated since 2007. With 50 years of combined experience, the team knows what makes a great cup of coffee, and they are dedicated to passing that knowledge on to keen students. The School hosts a range of on-site coffee courses including barista skills, latte art and roasting skills.
