To begin the morning, we drive through lush and mountainous coastal landscapes from Port Douglas, learning about the history and culture of the region, as we journey toward the ancient Daintree Rainforest.

For our spectacular and idyllic wild walk, we hike through ancient rainforest glades and the creekside valley to a gorgeous, secluded waterfall in the Daintree Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, where we can swim in this pristine untouched rock pool. The walk is a slightly challenging 1 hour each way, requiring reasonable fitness and good balance. We go at an easy pace, sharing many fascinating details about the pristine rainforest ecosystem along the trail... We then relax and indulge in a refreshing swim in this magical natural Rockpool where we can swim right beneath the falls !
