The Escape Hunt Experience is a unique adventure based on the classic “escape the room” online games now popular in many countries around the world. Originally these were online point and click computer games such as Myst and Crimson Room. They were then made into real life games in Japan around 2007. Players are locked in a simple room with objects and little decoration and feel like being inside a computer game while searching for clues and solving puzzles trying to escape.

This idea spread to other places and The Escape Hunt Experience is proud to take inspiration from these great games yet offer something totally unique. The Escape Hunt Gold Coast offers a true “experience” like a mini theme park where you are transported back over 100 years and play the part of a famous London detective with your colleagues trying to solve a murder mystery. As a team you play against the clock in one of our rooms to find the guilty suspect’s identity and thereby find your escape. The adventures last around 90 minutes as after the 60 minute game you can chat about your experience in our luxurious lounge area over a nice cup of tea and then dress up in period costume for photos.

Kidnapped on the Beach (Difficulty level is a 3 out of 5)

There’s trouble in the waves—a wealthy surf-loving heiress has been the victim of a kidnapping scheme. The kidnappers have left a note threatening the life of the heiress if a large sum of money is not paid in 60 minutes. It’s your job to find the kidnappers and save the heiress before it’s too late!

Murder in the Cellar (Difficulty level is 4 out of 5)

The owner of a prominent Gold Coast Hinterland vineyard has been mysteriously murdered on his property. Rumor has it that he had been involved in some suspicious business dealings. The police need your help to solve the case in the next 60 minutes before news of murder leaks to the press.

The Lost Weapon (Difficulty level is 4 out of 5)

 Mysterious cryptic messages kept appearing in James Ricker’s house and he had approached you to help him decipher these messages. However, three days later he was found dead. Were there any connections between the cryptic messages and his murder? Can you help solve this murder case and find the murder weapon in 60 minutes?
