Day 1: Hobart to Strahan

Stop At: Mount Field National Park, Mount Field National Park, Tasmania
After leaving Hobart via a scenic drive through the Derwent Valley – travelling from east to west across the island. We will stop to explore one of the oldest National Parks in Australia - the stunning Mt Field National Park, where we will see the famous Russell Falls and the complete the spectactular Tall Trees walk.

Stop At: Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park, Tasmania Australia
Welcome to Australia's deepest freshwater lake, we take time to explore the gorgeous Lake St Clair.

Day 2: Wild West Coast

Stop At: Strahan, Strahan, Tasmania
Get to know the Tasmanian west coast, exploring well known sites around the port city of Strahan such as Henty Dunes. Those who want to take in the surrounding area at a more leisurely pace can alternatively choose to take the optional Gordon River Cruise (subject to availability, at additional cost).

Stop At: Montezuma Falls, Tasmania Australia
Montezuma Falls is Tasmania's highest waterfall; and the walk to get there is a long time local favourite located in the Tarkine Rainforest.

Day 3: Cradle Mountain to Launceston

Stop At: Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park, Tasmania Australia
Around 950m above sea level is the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, where you can choose a walk to suit you. With an extensive range of tracks, stroll around Dove Lake or challenge yourself with a hike to Marion’s Lookout.

Day 4: Launceston to Bicheno

Stop At: Bay of Fires, Binalong Bay, Break O'Day, Tasmania Australia
Home to some of Australia's most stunning white sand beaches, If the conditions are right, this is the perfect place for a swim.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: East Coast Natureworld, 18356 Tasman Hwy, Bicheno, Tasmania 7215 Australia
Tasmania’s most scenic coastal drive takes you from St Helens to
Bicheno where we meet the iconic Tasmanian devil (among other native wildlife) as we stop at East Cost Natureworld wildlife sanctuary.

Stop At: Bicheno, Bicheno, Glamorgan-Spring Bay, Tasmania
Our last stop takes us to the pretty seaside town of Bicheno, where we will spend the night. Famous for its Little Penguins, passengers will have the option to join the evening Penguin tour (at additional cost).

Day 5: Bicheno to Hobart

Stop At: Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay Road, Coles Bay, Freycinet, Tasmania 7215 Australia
An early start means we are the first to the Wineglass Bay lookout, beating the crowds and the heat for that postcard photo. Relax on the secluded beach or choose the more challenging Mt Amos or a beach walk. We continue our journey south passing the coastal villages of Swansea and Orford before arriving back to Hobart.

Day 6: Bruny Island

Stop At: Bruny Island, Bruny Island, Tasmania
We journey south of Hobart to Kettering and board the vehicular ferry to cross the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to North Bruny Island. On the island, we stop at “The Neck” home to the Truganini Lookout and its spectacular 360-degree panoramic views of the Bruny Island coastline. Also, today we visit South Bruny Island and Adventure Bay, look for some local wildlife (including the white Bennetts wallabies) and sample some fresh local produce including oysters and cheese.

Day 7: Port Arthur

Stop At: Port Arthur Historic Site, Arthur Highway, Port Arthur, Tasmania 7182 Australia
We start with a visit to Australia’s best-preserved colonial village, Richmond before we head south to explore Tasmania’s ruthless convict past at the World Heritage listed Port Arthur Historic Site
(guided walk and short harbour cruise included). Rich in visual history, learn of the chilling life as a convict in the restored
sandstone prison buildings and preserved ruins.
