Once a booming mining town thanks to the gold rush of the mid 1800s, Bendigo has one of the best examples of opulent Victorian architecture in the country. Still the state’s second capital after Melbourne when it comes to finance, Bendigo comfortably straddles the divide between rural charm and bustling city and offers a wealth of history for visitors keen to delve into Australia’s colonial past. A thriving hub when it comes to art of both the performing and fine varieties as well as wineries, street-side cafes and fun attractions, the area delights families with its relaxed yet cultured nature.

The park is the winner of multiple awards from the 2013 Trip Advisor Top Performing Business Award to the 2012 Bendigo Bank Gippsland Business Award, and is listed as one of the top places to stay in the area by Trip Advisor reviewers . The site includes Bendigo’s largest indoor play centre – a four-level paradise for children featuring tunnels, slides, trampolines and ball pit – which travellers on option two-four can visit with two free kids’ passes. Groupies in units of four stay in the two-bedroom villas with their colourful facades, spacious living areas and fully equipped kitchens.

Peeps can choose to bring their own breakky or add on the option for a continental breakfast each day along with chocolates and a bottle of wine for the adults on arrival. Bedroom one includes a queen bed while bedroom two not only includes another bed but also a single bunk bed, and linen is provided for guests’ comfort.

Plenty of activities on-site mean folks can conduct their whole holiday from the park if they choose. Parents have a moment to relax while kids tear it up on the play centre or pair up to zip around the site on a go-kart. On warmer days, guests can cool off in the saltwater swimming pool or soak in the heated outdoor spa while admiring the serenity.
