One-Day Thredbo Snow Tour

Embark on a wintertime adventure during an overnight trip to Thredbo. Whether on ski, on a snowboard, with own or hired gear, Thredbo makes for a great place for wintertime fun for all the keen snow bunnies and other outdoorsy types. Participants withll have 7.5 hours of free time to ski or snowboard. Please note that Thredbo prohibits the use of toboggans and other miscellaneous snow sliding equipment that is associated with snow play.

The Itinerary:

11:20 PM – Corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta

Welcome on board. Allow yourself at least 20 minutes before departure to meet your local guide for the day. Once all our guests have arrived, we will head down south onto the Hume Highway towards Jindabyne.

11:20 PM – Corner of Darling Drive & Ultimo Road, Haymarket

Welcome on board. Allow yourself at least 20 minutes before departure to meet your local guide for the day. Once all our guests have arrived, we will head down south onto the Hume Highway towards Thredbo.

05:00 AM – Ski Hire Jindabyne

Arrive in Jindabyne for a chance to hire your ski gear (own expense) and purchase last-minute items before heading off to Thredbo. At this stop, morning refreshments are available to start your day.

07:15 AM – Arrive at Thredbo

Arrive in Thredbo where our bus will be dropping our guest off. You’ll have more than 7 hours of free time.

3:00 PM – Depart Thredbo

It’s time to head back. Enjoy your scenic drive back to Sydney where you will have the chance to see the sunset.

6:45 PM – Dinner Stop (Goulburn)

On your way back to Sydney, we will make a 40-minute dinner stop for a chance to grab a quick bite. Dinner options are McDonald's, Subway, a Kebab shop (halal), Olivers, Indian takeaway, Red Rooster, and a service station.

9:45 PM – Corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta

Arrive back in Parramatta.

9:50 PM: Drop off point – Corner of Darling Drive & Ultimo Rd, Haymarket

Arrive back in Haymarket.

The Area: Jindabyne and Thredbo

Jindabyne is the gateway to the Snowy Mountains region and Mount Kosciuszko National Park, with something for serenity seekers and adventurous spirits alike. Jindabyne comes to life in the wintertime when thousands of skiers come down out of the mountains each night to eat, drink and make merry. It is no less lively in the summer months, when wildflowers bloom across broad alpine meadows, and the sun transforms the mountains into an ideal place for walkers, horse riders, fishing enthusiasts, and Groupies who just want to relax.

No matter the time of year, there are plenty of action-packed activities taking place in Thredbo Village. Skiing and snowboarding are the obvious options for winter, with the ski slopes open for kids and adults alike, and varied terrain for snow bunnies of all experience levels. When the sun comes out and the snow melts away, jump on a mountain bike, go for a walk, play a round of golf, or enjoy bird’s eye mountain views from the chairlift.
