The Experience

Begin your adventure by immersing yourself in the small-town vibe of Ushuaia, Argentina. Board the ship and get acquainted with your new travelling companions and faciltites, including your new abode, a Twin Window Cabin. Whilst at sea, brush up on your wildlife and geographical knowledge with presentations led by the Expedition Team.

Get your camera ready before arriving at the Falkland Islands, a hub for spectacular wildlife species, including penguins, black-browed albatross and Cobb’s wren. Swap your sea legs for the steady ground of Port Stanley where guests are free to explore the town at their leisure. Jump back on board as you’re whisked away into Antarctic Waters.

The next stop is South Georgia, a historic site previously used as a whaling station. Take a step back in time and visit the grave of renowned explorer, Sir Ernest Shackleton at the settlement of Grytviken. During your time here, learn about the important relationship the landscape has with the several wildlife species found, including king penguins and fur seals.

Spend day 11 and 12 at sea whilst preparing to disembark in Antarctica. The knowledgeable Expedition Team guide guests during every landing to ensure they see the many contrasts of this untouched land. Examine towering glaciers, visit a research station and get up close with penguin colonies or even a curious Minke whale. All these Zodiac excursions are included in the package, and can be supplemented by additional treats for an extra cost, including an Antarctic kayaking excursion.

Savour your last few moments of peace at sea during the crossing of the Drake Passage, onward to Ushuaia where the once-in-a-lifetime experience comes to a conclusion.
