Gold Coast Holiday Park & Motel is a holiday oasis for families, offering over 32 acres of nature, space, and freedom, and seven theme parks within 5-10 minutes’ drive including Movie World, Wet’n’Wild, Sea World, and the Australian Outback Spectacular. Settle into a family bungalow replete with air conditioning, cooking facilities, a TV, and a furnished patio. Start each day with breakfast before heading to a theme park or stay in and relax.

Groupies can while away the hours enjoying the park’s facilities. Let the kids have fun on the swimming pool and water slide, while parents can relax and take advantage of poolside service at Nibbles Café by the Pool. Kids will also enjoy the giant jumping pillows, BMX track, and petting zoo. Take a family nature walk through the park to spot some kangaroos, koalas, and lorikeets, fish in the Salt Water Creek for mud crab or mullet, or start a friendly game of tennis or handball.

Just north of the centre of the action, Surfers Paradise, lies Labrador – a relaxed suburb with soaring views across the Broadwater and back to the glittering Gold Coast skyline.

Head straight to Surfers Paradise beach, where folks can take a surfing lesson, embark on a soft-sand run or just have a good old-fashioned splash in the blue waters. Walk up to the Esplanade, where food can be found in every form under the sun and trendy boutiques offer up clothing, gifts and home wares at a range of price points or move through to Elkhorn Avenue for designer stores including Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada. Try the foot of Chevron Renaissance or the DFS store on Orchid Avenue for fashion chains, or wander the leafy beachside boulevards for a relaxed high street shopping experience.

Outside Labrador, whole days can be spent at any number of famous Gold Coast theme parks like Dreamworld, Wet ‘n’ Wild, Warner Bros Movie World and even Tropical Fruit World. Slightly further afield is the “green behind the gold” Hinterland, which can be explored on a day trip to Tamborine Mountain or Currumbin Valley. By night, put dancing shoes on and hit the myriad bars, pubs and clubs within close reach.

Quick stop of 3 nights for a family get together - who live locally. Facilities and amenities are fantastic. We chose the hotel style accommodation as it was a brief stay and it was perfect. Close to restaurants and theme parks. Pool, cafe and bungalows are an added bonus. Heated pool was a little warm but very clean and fantastic for kids. Definitely stay again for an extended period hopefully ! Very clean. Friendly staff.
