Couplessnuggle up in one of four available Spa Suites that overlooking luscious gardens and feature a large spa bath and a balcony, both of which are ideal for wiling away the hours in ultimate relaxation mode. Groups of Groupies stay in a two bedroom, self-contained Villa.

The Area: Margaret River

The Margaret River region welcomes more than half-a-million visitors every year and the haven in Western Australia’s South West is home to some of the world’s most famous, award-winning drops. While it’s the wineries that characterise this holiday hotspot, Margaret River offers all manner of other gourmet pleasures like chocolate, olive oil and ice cream which together have made it one of the top destinations in Australia when it comes to fine food and fresh produce.

A trip to Margaret River would not be complete without visiting one of the internationally acclaimed wineries. Leeuwin Estate and Vasse Felix are two of the more obvious choices due to their size and stature, or eco-warriors may prefer learning the sustainable methods of Cullen Winery. A trip to the vines could be combined with a fine dining experience, where dishes are prepared in mod-Aus fashion from the freshest seasonal ingredients in exciting combinations.

Tastings of the non-alcohol kind are plentiful, with travellers tempted by artisan chocolates, honeycomb, olive oil, ice cream or cheese. When the sun is shining, a nearby beach like Gracetown or Yallingup provides either pretty vistas or challenging surf depending on personal preference, or just a simple drive along the coastline offers true blue scenery that’s hard to compare with anything else.

Children and adults alike will marvel over the stunning Leeuwin caves with their millennia-old mineral wonders, and hours can be spent at several local hedge mazes where wits are sure to be tested.

The service was great and very accommodating. The pool/gym area is great and has everything you need. The location is very central without being in the middle of town, its only a short walk to the shops and restaurants.
