The Mandarava Resort and Spa also offers a range of free activities for its guests to enjoy throughout their stay. These include yoga by the pool every Thursday, towel folding class every Wednesday and a game and fitness room. Thai cooking classes are also on offer to purchase.

The Area: Phuket

For something quieter and more picturesque, take a long tail boat around the southern headland to Freedom Beach, which is only accessible by water. By night, busy Bangla Road comes to life with bars, restaurants and nightclubs at every turn. The streets are closed to cars from 6pm and throng with people every night of the week. For something different, check out a Las Vegas-style magic show at the Joe Conrad Magic Theatre. During the daytime, explore the spectacular surrounding area with a tour to Phi Phi Island, a scuba-diving day trip or an elephant trek through the jungle.

An absolutely stunning resort in beautiful surroundings . The rooms are very spacious & of a very high standard , we had a ground floor room with a lovely terrace ideal for sitting & relaxing just by the Mango pool which itself was amazing with a fabulous pool bar ! The atmosphere around the pool was so relaxing & so much space in the pool itself , never too busy just right ! The grounds & public areas are immaculate & vey well maintained , beautiful !

I have never been so relaxed and amazed by a resort as I have been at Mandarava. Everything is perfection, the staff are all wonderful and eager to please, the grounds are immaculate and the food and view is heaven! If you ever get a chance to visit Phuket, go to Karon beach and stay at the Mandarava, you will love it as much as we all did. I will definitely come back and stay here again and again and again.
