The Hotel: Oysta la Vista
Oysta la Vista is a breezy, self-contained sea view sanctuary situated upon a clifftop overlooking the pristine waters of Oyster Bay, just a short trip from natural and urbane attractions. Comprising of two storeys, up to 10 break-takers seek seaside repose in this four-bedroom house, equipped with double spa bath, air-conditioning, home theatre and enclosed deck with BBQ facilities.
Cook up a storm in the well-stock kitchen with appliances including a coffee machine, as well as crockery, cutlery, saucepans, utensils and serving dishes or prep a sizzling feast with gas barbeque, and dine on the front verandah with views as far as The Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island. To relax, take a dip in the spa bath, head to the family room featuring a pool table, books and board games or simply take in the cove views from the balcony.

Cruise on down to water’s edge where the calm waters of the bay make for perfect swimming, snorkelling and water-skiing sites or spend the afternoon fishing off the numerous jetties. Wander along the inlet stopping to spot dolphins that are often seen frolicking in the bay. Stroll the 5km coastal cliff top walking trail from the Foreshore Caravan Park to Pitts Cutting for a view across the gorgeous Gulf of St Vincent. Get a taste for the local way of life by heading into Southern Yorke Peninsula, offering an array of charming restaurants, country pubs and quaint craft galleries.
