The Experience

Pack comfy boots and a light bag, and embark on this adventure-packed tour of Malaysia. During the seven-day excursion, holidaymakers will have a chance to explore both, the natural gems of the country and its unique cities. Breathe in the crisp air of verdant mangrove forests, hop from island to island to discover some of the secluded beaches and blue lagoons, and finally visit the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, known as a mecca of diversity that blends modern architecture with lush parks, traditional street stalls, and historic sights.

The Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Langkawi Airport

• Arrive at Langkawi Airport and be welcomed by the tour representative
• Be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay in Langkawi

Day 2: Mangrove Tour – Island Hopping (breakfast)

• In the morning be picked up from the hotel and head to explore the unique mangrove forest by boat; while on the tour learn about the limestone forests on the slopes of stunning limestone outcrops of northeast Langkawi, and admire the greenery of the forests, secluded white beaches and blue lagoons
• Later, proceed for an island hopping, one of the most popular boat tour in Langkawi; discover some of the Jewel of Kedah’s offshore gems; begin with Pulau Singa Besar, then head to Dayang Bunting Island to see the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden, and finally discover Beras Basah Island
• After the day full of adventures, be transferred to the hotel in Langkawi for an overnight stay

Day 3: Half-Day Langkawi City Tour – Ipoh City (breakfast)

• Embark on a half-day Langkawi city tour and visit the famous sites of Atma Alam (where the process of traditional batik printing may be witnessed), Eagle Square (with the statue of an Eagle that symbolises Langkawi) and Kuah town
• Take a chance to visit Underwater World, one of the largest marine and freshwater aquaria in South East Asia (no ticket included, travellers may visit the venue at their own expense)
• In the afternoon, be transferred to Langkawi Airport for a flight to Penang; from Penang be transferred to Ipoh
• Check-in at the hotel in Ipoh and stay overnight there

Day 4: Lost World of Tambun (breakfast)

• Enjoy a full day eco-adventure at Lost World Of Tambun, a theme park known for its natural hot springs as well as an array of attractions and rides
• The entrance ticket is inclusive of: Lost World Amusement Park, Lost World Water Park, Lost World Tiger Valley, Lost World Petting Zoo, Lost World Tin Valley, Lost World Hot Springs & Spa, Lost World Hippo Kingdom (opening hours: weekdays 11am-6pm, weekends: 10am-6pm; park is closed every Tuesday, except on Malaysian school and public holidays)
• At the end of the day, relax in natural hot springs and head then head back to the hotel in Ipoh for an overnight stay

Day 5: Kuala Lumpur (breakfast)

• After having a hearty breakfast at the hotel, be transferred to Kuala Lumpur, the capital and most populous city in Malaysia
• Embark on a private tour of Kuala Lumpur and discover the city’s wealth of cultural heritage; while on tour visit shrines, majestic palaces, and vintage buildings; visit the National Museum, see the old and new Sultan’s palaces, and pay respects at the National Monument
• The tour covers: Petronas Twin Towers photo stop | Golden Triangle (Commercial/Business/Shopping Centres) drive pass, Independence Square photo stop, Railway Station/National Mosque photo stop, King’s Palace photo stop, visit to the Kuala Lumpur Tower with observation deck entrance ticket 

Day 6: Day Trip to Genting Highlands with Two-Way Cable Car (breakfast)

• Be picked up from the Kuala Lumpur hotel and proceed for a day trip to Genting Highlands
• En route photo-stop at Batu Caves
• When on the spot, hop into the longest and fastest cable car in South East Asia and explore the Genting Resort situated on the top of the hill
• Head back to Kuala Lumpur and stay overnight at Kuala Lumpur hotel

Day 7: Departure and End of the Tour

• After having breakfast at the hotel, check out and be transferred to KLIA airport for the flight back home
