What does laser hair removal involve?
Laser hair removal aims to reduce unwanted hair on specific parts of the body. Chosen areas are exposed to specially developed laser technology, which is designed to target the hair-inducing melanin found in follicles.

• If treating blonde/red or grey hair, hair in treated areas need to be 1-2cm long
• Do not shave or wax any area prior to treatment
• Chosen areas must not be waxed 4 weeks prior to treatment
• For most effective result, merchant will need to wax blonde/red or grey hair directly before treatment; surcharge applies for waxing - for price please contact the merchant directly
• Customers with brown/black hair should shave approximately 7 days before first IPL treatment (do not wax); please ensure there is some short hair present on day of treatment
• Sessions must occur at least 4-6 weeks apart
• 6-8 sessions are generally recommended for best results
• Results will vary according to skin and hair type
• Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, those undergoing chemotherapy or those on photosensitising drugs
• Not suitable for the following conditions: undiagnosed lesions, recent herpes outbreaks, warts, active weeping acne (stages 3-4), active rosacea, unstable diabetes, those using Retin A frequently, or those who have just had a chemical peel or facial laser surgery
• Merchant reserves the right to decline treatment for any of the above conditions; full refund can be provided
• Late arrivals will result in shortened treatment time
• Must not use sunbeds or fake tan 4 weeks prior to treatment
• First visit preparation:
• Merchant will need to see the hair to recommend best treatment; grow it out to at least 'double stubble' or 2mm
• Keep the body cool: no sun, hot showers, tight clothes, or exercise the day of your appointment
• Keep the skin clean and healthy: no tanning for 14 days prior or 3 days after visit; avoid self-tanners; ensure you arrive with clean, bare skin in the area(s) you want to be treated
• Avoid medications that may be photosensitive; if possible, delay taking medications or any vitamins until you complete the treatment plan
