Winter need not be all doom and gloom with keen foodies venturing out of their cosy caves for a unique Japanese feast. With 11 courses on offer, served with garlic or steamed Nishiki rice and red and white miso soup, Groupies loosen their belts for a seafood experience starting with teppanyaki-style crab salad with avocado wrapped in Hiramasa kingfish. Additional courses feature fresh sashimi, garlic prawn and calamari salad and a refreshing Yuzu lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate.
The second leg of the feast includes a selection of grilled seafood and lobster served with Kobe Jones' motoyaki sauce. Four of our mates had a 24th birthday party at Wharf Teppanyaki last Saturday and this absolutely was an electrifying experience for all of us! The staff were very very helpful and friendly and all the food was just so amazing...
