Highlights:

- Choose one of three classes available, each designed especially for the specific age group:
- Pre-Gym 1: for walking to 3 years old children, an introductory class running for 45 minutes. Children are allowed to explore the gymnasium and select which apparatus they wish to play on. A qualified coach is on-hand to provide guidance and building blocks for the gymnastics career
- Pre-Gym 2: for 3 to 4 years old, contains more structured activities for slightly older pre-schoolers and runs for 45 minutes. Includes a warm-up game and stretching after which children rotate around the apparatus as per the coaches instructions. Parent involvement is encouraged
- Kinder Fun : for 4 to 5 years old, provides a structured environment and runs for one hour. Gymnasts are put through apparatus rotations and a warm-up and stretch before beginning. Parent involvement is not needed

About Moonee Valley YMCA Gymnastics Club
Part of the Cooper Street Community Centre, Moonee Valley YMCA Gymnastics Club is a Gymnastics Facilitycentre for children of all ages. Offering recreational, educational and competitive classes, a team of experienced coaches invites young members of all abilities to join them for a workout. Aspiring gymnasts can learn numerous manoeuvres like saults, handstands and cartwheels, all using professional equipment including beams, vaults, p-bars and uneven bars, as well as an Olympic-size trampoline. The older pupils can develop leadership skills and get to know something about responsibility as a part of the Junior Coaching Program during which they take care of the younger colleagues.
