- Be at least 17 years old
- Students must also be aware before undertaking the course that in order to be eligible to apply for a Security Providers Licence or a Commercial and Private Inquiries Agent (CAPI) license, they must have had no criminal convictions in the previous 10 years. • If you have previously worked in the industry or have an equivalent but not current qualification, or have completed specific units from another qualification that AIS delivers, AIS can offer the RPL process in which you would not have to re-do any units you have previously done
