Certificate III in Aged Care is primarily geared toward learners who aim to work in a residential care facility for the elderly. Topics covered include providing support to people living with dementia, supporting individual health and emotional wellbeing and applying first aid. Potential occupations for graduates include home care assistant, community care workers and disability service officer. Students also receive a work placement to help them in their quest for future employment.
